When Brian Paone, an author from Salem MA, entered the Missouri State Penitentiary as a guest for an overnight ghost hunt with Get Haunted, he never expected the turn of events that followed. With spectral muses running wild, the draw to base his next novel exclusively within the penitentiary proved too great to ignore.
With the idea to write a horror novel about a ghost hunt gone wrong during one of MSP's ghost tours, Brian was granted permission to write the entire novel inside the haunted buildings of MSP, while ghost tours and hunts were going on around him. But when they weren't, Brian was trapped inside those walls, alone in cells, with the only glow of his laptop to catch fleeting shadow figures while he wrote.
Join us at the book release party, where Brian will highlight where all the major parts of the book took place, as well as some of his favorite writing spots. And maybe a cell or two where some unexplained things happened to him while he wrote in the middle of the night, alone with just his thoughts, the peekers of A-Hall, and the clacking sound of his fingers on the laptop keys ...
